課程概述

This is an international joint course with University of Georgia, GA, USA. The course goal is to provide students with an advanced practicum in embedded robotics. The students will learn about programming, control, actuation, and communications on robots. The students will expand skills with a series of robotic projects, such as car robots, simple bipedal robots and humanoid robots, throughout the semester.

Topics to be covered:

1)University of Georgia:
Robot foundations, servo position control and balance sensing, bot-to-bot zigbee communications, advanced servo control, foot pressure sensor, and humanoid balance sensing control

2)National Taiwan University:
Sensor principles, embedded C, and mobile wireless sensor networks

Upon completion of this course, students should have an integrated hardware/software understanding of embedded robotic systems.

1) Introduction to bio-industrial mechatronics engineering
2) C language programming
